Ch.8 Journal

Dear Diary, I missed you. Ready to hear what I have to say? Well... Jack decided that he was going to take the conch shell in blow into it for an assembly. He tells the boys that he's positive there's a beast on the top of the mountain. Then he talks about how I'm the coward who should be removed from my leadership role. Like who is he to make the rules? However the boys decided they wasn't going to remove me. It made Jack upset so he stormed away saying he was leaving and if any boy wanted to join then to follow him.
Piggy was happy that Jack was leaving. I was in deep trouble because I had no clue what to do. Simon added that we should go to the mountain to find the beast. The boys were afraid to act on his suggestion so we they didn't bother. Then I went into a depression, but piggy succeeded at cheering me up. Piggy said that they should make a new fire signal again, my mind lit up for a second. I felt like we'd be saved.. Will we? Hopefully.
So I guess Jack gathered his tribe and he's considered the Chief. The hunters killed a Sow, Roger drove his spear into the Sow's anus. Then the boys leave the Sow's head on a sharp steak in the jungle as an offering to the beast. Piggy and I discussed the deserters, The hunters steal burning sticks from the fire on the beach. Jack told my followers that they are welcome to come to his feast that night and even to join his tribe. The hungry boys are tempted by the idea of pig’s meat.

Dear Diary, Ralph again did you miss me? Oh boy I've been waiting to write to you. I was walking along the beach today, I thought about how much of life is an improvisation and about how a considerable part of one’s waking life is spent watching one’s feet. I tried to get the group back in line by calling a meeting, At the meeting place, I gripped the conch shell and berate the boys for their failure to uphold the group’s rules.       If they don't listen we'll never get out this place. I'm ready to go home, but they don't care. It's not fair to me, Simon, and Piggy. I cant blame the littlun's because their still babies. Oh boy the boys are saying I'm not doing my job. What do I say? Do I call the meeting off? I'll just leave it right here       I don't know anymore diary. I'm gonna call it a day, and leave it to them. Then again never mind, I'm gonna stick here for a little bit. I wish you could write back to me or ...

Ch.11 Journal

Dear Diary, hey buddy how you been? The next morning, me and my few companions try to light the fire in the cold air, but the attempt is hopeless without Piggy’s glasses. Piggy, squinting and barely able to see, suggests that I hold a meeting to discuss their options. I blew the conch shell, and the boys who have not gone to join Jack's tribe assemble on the beach. They decide that their only choice is to travel to the Castle Rock to make Jack and his followers see reason. I've  decided to take the conch shell to the Castle Rock, hoping that it will remind Jack’s followers of his former authority. Once at Jack’s camp, however, my group encounters armed guards. Jack and I fought for the second time in a row, and Piggy cries out shrilly, struggling to make himself heard over the brawl. I heard  the rock falling, I dove and dodges it. But the boulder strikes Piggy, shatters the conch shell he is holding, and knocks him o...
