D-Day Journal

He was affected because he's never seen that many people die within 12 minutes, he was only at the age of 19. Seeing bullets shoot and people fly into the air dying is scary because he could've been one of those people. Also even though he wasn’t the only one who survived he still only had few people left  to count on for help.He question the goodness of mankind because he wanted to know if we were born evil or good. He wanted to how mankind was able to kill people without any problems doing it.
You have to think about the fact that going to war is not just wanting to kill people its wanting to help your country. If people go around killing other people then there's no reason for "war.I think man is born with goodness and learns be barbaric because everyone gets the taught right from wrong there is no excuse as to doing wrong everyone has choices and everyone knows right  choices from wrong choices, so to use born evil is unacceptable.

Dear Diary, Ralph again did you miss me? Oh boy I've been waiting to write to you. I was walking along the beach today, I thought about how much of life is an improvisation and about how a considerable part of one’s waking life is spent watching one’s feet. I tried to get the group back in line by calling a meeting, At the meeting place, I gripped the conch shell and berate the boys for their failure to uphold the group’s rules.       If they don't listen we'll never get out this place. I'm ready to go home, but they don't care. It's not fair to me, Simon, and Piggy. I cant blame the littlun's because their still babies. Oh boy the boys are saying I'm not doing my job. What do I say? Do I call the meeting off? I'll just leave it right here       I don't know anymore diary. I'm gonna call it a day, and leave it to them. Then again never mind, I'm gonna stick here for a little bit. I wish you could write back to me or ...

Ch.3 Journal

Huts on the Beach is chapter 3 of the LOTF. As you can tell in the first two chapters everything was a little bumpy. Jack began to trail a pig through the jungle, but as you know it evades him. while Jack is walking he comes to land to see that Simon and I are working. We're building huts for the boys to live in. I was upset because my huts kept on falling down. if your thinking it's because the other boys won't help then your absolutely right.      I was annoyed that Jack, like all the other boys, is unwilling to work on the huts, means that Jack and the hunters are using their hunting duties as an excuse to avoid the real work. Jack responds to my complaints by saying that the boys want meat. Jack and I continue to bicker and grow increasingly hostile toward each other. Hoping to regain our sense of camaraderie, we go swimming together in the lagoon, but our feelings of mutual dislike remain and fester.  ...
